Ella Mäkijärvi
Ella practises in the Dispute Resolution Group and advises clients on various commercial disputes. She advocates cases in domestic and international arbitration and commercial litigation before state courts.
Ella has acted as counsel in significant international arbitration and litigation proceedings. She has experience of arbitration administered under different institutional rules (including FAI, SCC, and ICC).
Prior to joining the Dispute Resolution Group, Ella worked in Hannes Snellman’s M&A practice, where she advised clients on mergers and acquisitions, as well as on capital markets, corporate, commercial, and contract law.
In addition to her experience at Hannes Snellman, Ella has trained on the bench at the District Court of Helsinki.
