Hannes Snellman Counsel to Sampo plc in the Recommended Public Exchange Offer for the Shares in Topdanmark A/S

Hannes Snellman is acting as counsel to Sampo plc in the recommended public exchange offer for the shares in Topdanmark A/S. Topdanmark, listed on Nasdaq Copenhagen, is one of the largest Danish P&C insurers with a market share of 15 per cent of the Danish P&C insurance market. Topdanmark reported a profit before taxes of DKK 1,051 million for 2023. Based on Sampos’s closing share price on Nasdaq Helsinki on 14 June 2024, the exchange offer values the entire outstanding share capital of Topdanmark at DKK 33 billion.

The exchange offer is expected to be completed in September 2024. Upon the completion of the exchange offer, the class A shares of Sampo are to be admitted to trading and official listing also on Nasdaq Copenhagen.
