Mikko Huimala and Jenni Heurlin Speaking at State Aid and Competition Law Seminar

Partner Mikko Huimala and Managing Associate Jenni Heurlin from Hannes Snellman's Competition and Regulatory Team will be speaking at Alma Insights' State Aid and Competition Law Seminar (Valtiontuet ja kilpailuoikeus), organised by the Association of Finnish Lawyers on 11 December 2024.

Mikko will be acting as the chair of the seminar. In her presentation, Jenni will be covering recent state aid related case law and of the Court of Justice of the European Union and the Supreme Administrative Court.

Mikko Huimala has over 20 years of experience in competition and regulatory law matters. He advises Finnish and international companies on all aspects of competition law, including merger control, compliance, investigations, proceedings before the competition authorities and courts, and state aid. He also advises companies in a range of regulatory issues relating to regulated markets, such as energy and telecoms, sanctions, and internal market issues as well as foreign direct investment (FDI) screening.

Jenni Heurlin advises clients on all aspects of EU and Finnish competition law and state aid regulation, with a particular focus on merger control. She also advises companies in a range of regulatory issues, including Foreign Subsidies Regulation (FSR) as well as foreign direct investment (FDI) screening.
