Hannes Snellman Participating in the IBA 21st Annual International Mergers & Acquisitions Conference in New York

Hannes Snellman’s partners Mikko Heinonen, Klaus Ilmonen, Riikka Rannikko, Rabbe Sittnikow, and Erik Stenman will be participating at the IBA 21st Annual International M&A Conference in New York on 5-6 June 2024.

IBA International M&A Conference is the leading conference bringing together practitioners from around the globe to discuss the latest developments and hot topics in international M&A law.

Hannes delegates:

Mikko Heinonen is a partner within Hannes Snellman’s M&A Practice with a focus on various forms of corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, finance advisory, and securities regulation. He frequently provides advice regarding transactional matters, governance and financing issues to corporations, financial sponsors, and their boards. Mikko has also advised many industrial and technology companies in equity financing and restructuring situations and has considerable experience in public takeovers, mergers and cross-border transactions, including some of the largest transactions in the Nordic market. Mikko is also qualified to practice in the State of New York.

Klaus Ilmonen heads Hannes Snellman’s Capital Markets Practice in Helsinki. His practice includes equity capital markets and other corporate transactions involving public corporations. Klaus is a professor of practice at the Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki, Finland, and teaches corporate and securities law. He has also served on a consultative group for developing EU corporate finance regulation and has participated in drafting Finnish takeover regulation. Klaus has qualified as an attorney in the State of New York, and he has also been a visiting researcher at Harvard Law School.

Riikka Rannikko serves as the managing partner of Hannes Snellman. She regularly acts for both listed and non-listed companies on a wide range of private and public M&A transactions and advises clients on corporate, governance, securities market, and compliance matters.

Rabbe Sittnikow is a partner within Hannes Snellman’s M&A Practice with a focus on infrastructure, energy, and technology related deals. He has over 20 years of experience of corporate law and various private and public M&A deals, most of which have involved a cross-border element. Rabbe is acting as an officer and a member of the Advisory Board of the International Bar Association’s M&A and Corporate Committee.

Erik Stenman specialises in mergers and acquisitions with an emphasis on private equity M&A. He has significant experience of almost 15 years in transactional work, both domestic and cross-border, advising both Finnish and international private equity sponsors, infrastructure investors, and industrial clients on various M&A deals and investments.
