Joakim Frände

Specialist Partner Tax

Joakim specialises in domestic and international taxation of individuals. He has several years of experience in the planning and implementation of key person remuneration such as bonus programmes, share awards, options, restricted stocks (RS), restricted stock units (RSU), share appreciation rights (SAR), FCPEs, and management incentive programmes.

Joakim regularly advises clients especially on matters relating to relocation and cross-border taxation of individuals and employer obligations and social security contributions in different reward schemes and assignment setups. Furthermore, Joakim assists clients during active tax audits. Joakim also represents private individuals, family offices, and family-owned companies in all aspects of tax litigation, including advance rulings for both tax and social security purposes, corrections claims, and disputes before administrative courts and the Supreme Administrative Court. In recent years, he has also defended clients in cases where the client is subject to criminal investigations and accused of tax fraud or white-collar crimes. During large corporate acquisitions, he regularly advises buyers and sellers on all matter related to private individuals’ tax and social security aspects.
