10 January 2017

P.R.I.M.E. Finance (the Hague-based Panel of Recognised International Market Experts in Finance) has confirmed twenty-five new appointments to its List of Experts from thirteen different countries, including Hannes Snellman’s Senior Advisor, Matti Engelberg. The Panel is currently composed of more than 130 experts with more than 4,000 years of collective relevant financial market and legal experience.

P.R.I.M.E. Finance was established in 2012 to help resolve disputes concerning complex financial transactions. The organization has the support of key international regulatory bodies and is complementary to the on‐going financial market regulatory reform process. The mission of P.R.I.M.E. Finance is to foster a more stable global economy and financial marketplace by reducing legal uncertainty and systemic risk, and, especially in emerging markets, promoting the rule of law. The non-profit foundation has a cooperation agreement with the intergovernmental Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) located at the Peace Palace in The Hague.

Matti Engelberg’s appointment to the esteemed P.R.I.M.E. Finance Panel of Experts is due in large part to his 30 plus years of experience in international banking and capital markets. According to Matti Engelberg, the current unstable state of the global financial market demands the development of professional tools for dispute prevention and resolution. The unique combination of two groups of international experts, in Finance and Dispute Resolution, makes P.R.I.M.E. Finance an excellent market option for dispute resolution services, including arbitration, mediation, expert opinions, determinations and risk assessment.
