Riikka Rannikko Appointed as Hannes Snellman’s Managing Partner in Helsinki

The partners of Hannes Snellman have elected Riikka Rannikko as the new managing partner in Helsinki.

Riikka will enter into her new role during the spring and be part of Hannes Snellman’s Group Management Team alongside the firm’s managing partner in Stockholm, Paula Röttorp. Mikko Heinonen, who has been the managing partner in Helsinki since 2011, will continue to focus on public and private M&A, equity issues, general securities regulation, and governance matters.

Riikka Rannikko joined Hannes Snellman in 1998 and became a partner in 2006. She regularly acts for both listed and non-listed companies on a wide range of private and public M&A transactions and advises clients on corporate, governance, securities market, and compliance matters. Following her appointment, Riikka will continue her normal client practice, in line with Hannes Snellman’s principle of all partners actively engaging in client work.
