Partner Antti Järvinen Appointed as a Member of the Board of the Finland Arbitration Institute

The Finland Chamber of Commerce has appointed new members to the Board of the Arbitration Institute, which is responsible for the administration of arbitrations and mediations, for the term beginning on 1 January 2019. One of the new Finnish members is Hannes Snellman’s Partner Antti Järvinen. Antti heads Hannes Snellman’s Dispute Resolution practice in Helsinki.

The Arbitration Institute of the Finland Chamber of Commerce appoints arbitrators to domestic and international arbitrations, and administers proceedings conducted under its Arbitration Rules or Expedited Arbitration Rules. The Arbitration Institute can also act as appointing authority under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. Moreover, the Arbitration Institute administers proceedings conducted under its Mediation Rules.
