Hannes Snellman Counsel to the Investor Consortium in a Formation of a New Nordic Real Estate Fund

Hannes Snellman acted as counsel to Ratos AB (publ), Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company and Redito AB in a formation of Serena Properties AB, a new Nordic real estate fund, which will focus on commercial properties.

The new fund will acquire 22 properties from Varma for its initial portfolio. The combined value of the properties is approx.. EUR 191.5 million. The transaction, which is subject to approval by the competition authorities, is expected to close by the end of January 2016 at the latest.
