Hannes Snellman Counsel to Optomed Plc on its IPO and Listing on Nasdaq Helsinki

Hannes Snellman has acted as lead counsel to Optomed Plc in relation to its Initial Public Offering and listing on the Official List of Nasdaq Helsinki. Optomed is a medical technology company that specializes in fundus imaging devices and solutions and is one of the leading providers of handheld fundus cameras. The offering was over-subscribed and amounted to approximately EUR 32 million, of which the company raised gross proceeds of EUR 20 million through an issue of new shares and certain existing shareholders including Aura Capital Oy and Halma Ventures Limited sold existing shares for approximately EUR 12 million, assuming the over-allotment option being fully exercised. The offering comprised a public offering in Finland and Sweden and an institutional offering internationally. Carnegie Investment Bank acted sole global coordinator and bookrunner and Swedbank in co-operation with Kepler Cheuvreux acted joint bookrunner in the offering.
