Hannes Snellman Counsel to Nordic Packaging and Container Holdings Oy in the sale of Powerflute Group Holdings Oy

Hannes Snellman acted as a Finnish counsel to Nordic Packaging and Container Holdings (NPAC Holdings) in the sale of Powerflute Group Holdings Oy to a division of Mondi Group, for an enterprise value of EUR 365 million.

Powerflute operates an integrated pulp and paper mill in Kuopio, Finland with an annual production capacity of 285,000 tonnes of semi-chemical fluting. Powerflute will be integrated into Mondi’s Packaging Paper Business Unit upon closing of the transaction which is expected to take place during H1/2018.
