Hannes Snellman Counsel to Infracapital in the Acquisition of 63% of Fortum Recharge AS with Subsidiaries

Hannes Snellman acted as Swedish and Finnish counsel to Infracapital in the acquisition of 63% of Fortum Recharge AS with subsidiaries. Fortum will sell a majority share of its public charging point operator (CPO) for electrical vehicles in the Nordic countries, Fortum Recharge AS together with its Finnish and Swedish subsidiaries, to Infracapital. Recharge is the largest CPO in the Nordic countries, owning close to 1,300 public charging points and operating an additional 1,400 charging points in Norway, Finland, and Sweden. The transaction, with an enterprise value of approximately EUR 140 million corresponding to 100 % of Recharge, is expected to close in 2020’s second quarter.
