Hannes Snellman Counsel to Anticimex in the Acquisition of WiseCon

Anticimex acquires remaining 80 per cent in WiseCon A/S, a Danish company that offers advanced electronic rattraps and monitoring systems, and establishes an Innovation Center for Digital Pest Control. The acquisition highlights Anticimex’s commitment to digital pest control solutions.

In January 2015, Anticimex acquired 20 per cent of the shares in WiseCon. The acquisition was an important step in the strategy to grow in digital pest control services and has proved to be a success. Anticimex has over the past two years launched the Anticimex SMART concept, which is based on WiseCon´s technology, and has installed more than 20,000 SMART rodent devices across the world. More than 20 per cent of Anticimex new sales consist of SMART digital traps and the concept is currently being developed  for other kinds of pest control.
