Counsel Markus Manninen Reappointed to IBU Anti-Doping Hearing Panel and Court of Arbitration

The Executive Board of the International Biathlon Union (IBU) has reappointed Hannes Snellman’s Counsel Markus Manninen to the IBU Anti-Doping Hearing Panel and to the Court of Arbitration for a new term. 

Whenever it appears that the IBU Anti-Doping Rules have been violated in connection with IBU testing or testing at an international event, the case will be assigned to the IBU Anti-Doping Hearing Panel for adjudication. Decisions of the panel may be appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Markus Manninen has extensive experience in the field of sports law and he holds several positions of trust in significant sports organisations.
