Hannes Snellman Strengthens Its M&A and Finance Practices with Two Senior Recruitments from Financial Sector

Experienced lawyers Viivu Kilkku and Kadri Vatman have joined Hannes Snellman’s M&A and Finance Teams as counsel and senior associate, respectively.

Viivu brings a wealth of expertise from the in-house environment to Hannes Snellman after having worked as an in-house counsel for Sampo and Mandatum. Viivu’s experience includes a diverse array of equity and debt transactions, as well as securities market regulation and corporate governance for publicly listed companies. Viivu is well-versed in financial regulations impacting life and non-life insurance companies, as well as asset management firms. Before her time as an in-house counsel, Viivu used to work in Hannes Snellman’s Finance Team.

Kadri has vast experience in regulated industries, particularly in the banking and capital market sectors. Kadri’s background includes working with a wide range of financial matters, including financial regulation, alternative investments, and sustainable finance. She has previously worked as a compliance officer at LocalTapiola Asset Management Ltd, a senior associate at FCG Risk & Compliance Ltd, and a regulatory expert at Nordea.
