Hannes Snellman Recruits Experienced Private Equity Professional - Annika Schauman Joins the Firm as Senior Associate

Hannes Snellman has recruited internationally experienced private equity and M&A professional Annika Schauman, who joined the firm’s private equity team as a senior associate. Annika has a unique background based on several years of experience in mid-cap private equity and investment banking in both Finland and Sweden, covering transactions, financing, strategy, and board work. 

Annika has transaction experience across various industries and geographies with main responsibilities including new deal sourcing, deal execution, and project management, leading legal, financial and commercial due diligence teams. Annika also has strong experience in portfolio company management ranging from group level and business unit strategy work to financial planning and valuation, structuring, and financing. Annika has served as an owner representative and deputy board member in several Finnish mid-sized companies, supporting companies to grow and succeed through hands-on strategy support within digitalisation, sales excellence, M&A transactions, and international expansion.
