Hannes Snellman continues to strengthen its highly regarded Projects & Construction practice amid increasing demand for high-end advice on complex investments in energy, infrastructure and other major projects, as well as on industrial outsourcing. Maria Landtman (LL.M., M.Sc. (Econ.)) has joined Hannes Snellman as Specialist Partner to co-head the firm’s Projects & Construction practice, a multi-disciplinary group of experienced lawyers whose expertise cuts across the fields of project finance, construction, real estate, environment, procurement, state aid, tax and structuring, M&A and dispute resolution.

Maria has been involved in a wide range of projects within the energy, infrastructure, construction and commodities sectors. She advises energy companies, industrials, lenders, construction companies, operators and manufacturers in relation to e.g. power projects, road network improvements, the procurement of large equipment and machinery and the supply of commodities. Maria has played a key role in several project finance transactions within the energy and infrastructure sectors in recent years, having advised on construction and other project documentation and their bankability. 

Prior to joining Hannes Snellman Maria spent time in leading Finnish and English law firms.
