We have published our Nordic Highlights Q2 | 2019 issue. This Nordic Highlights issue focuses on the employment law developments in the Nordic countries.

For both Finland and Sweden, the first half of 2019 has been characterised by an increasing number of companies making headcount reductions and restructuring their businesses, which is likely a result of the general decline in economic activity. At the same time, there is new legislation under way with the intention of providing more flexibility in the labour market, and the new laws are currently either being considered or about to enter into force during the coming months.
