This season of Hannes Snellman’s video series, Legal Trends by Hannes, focuses on different aspects of the clean transition. The second episode is hosted by Senior Associate Noora Britschgi.

In the episode, Noora talks about small modular reactors (SMRs), the smaller size and modularity of which means that their components can be factory assembled and transported, thereby simplifying their construction and location. These advanced nuclear reactors have their place in the clean transition as a source of low-carbon energy and are expected to be considered in the upcoming renewal of Finnish nuclear legislation.
