The Finnish Public Procurement Association Re-Elects Outi Jousi and Eeva Tiainen as Board Members and Outi Jousi as President

Counsel Outi Jousi, who heads Hannes Snellman's Public Procurement Practice, and Senior Associate Eeva Tiainen were re-elected as board members of the Finnish Public Procurement Association, and Outi Jousi was also re-elected as the president of the association for the fifth consecutive term. Eeva is responsible for matters relating to the association’s memberships.
Both Outi and Eeva work within our Public Procurement and IP&Tech Practices. Outi specialises in complex questions relating to public procurement and technology, giving practical advice to parties in projects both in the public and private sectors. Her focus areas include novel technology procurement, tendering competitions, compliance, procurement-related disputes and review procedures, and negotiations.
Eeva advises both contracting authorities and companies on all stages of complex public procurement procedures, including the preparation of invitations to tender, the evaluation of bids, and the analysis of complex compliance matters. Eeva has gained extensive experience in representing contracting authorities and companies in Market Court proceedings, and she also provides advice on contractual matters and disputes.
The Finnish Public Procurement Association has approximately 400 members, and it promotes legal and interdisciplinary research related to public procurement, professional development, the sharing of best practices, and the promotion of public procurement, and it acts as a liaison between those interested in public procurement.
