Piia Ahonen and Marika Sorsa Launch a Book on Value Added Taxation in Real Estate Business

Hannes Snellman's VAT experts Piia Ahonen and Marika Sorsa have recently written a book on value added taxation in the real estate business (Kiinteistöliiketoiminnan arvonlisäverotus). In the book, the authors thoroughly discuss VAT rules and questions regarding the different aspects of real estate business, including construction, selling real estate, renting and other use of premises, as well as special issues such as life cycle projects, parking, and renting of co-working spaces.

To celebrate the launch of the recently published book, the Finland Chamber of Commerce is organising a launch event on 6 October 2023. You may register for the virtual streaming of the event here.

In the event, the authors will be discussing the current trends of rental business and the meaning of the changes in the industry in terms of value added tax. The event will be held in Finnish.
