Hannes Snellman Receives Hyvän Tekijät Responsibility Mark
28 October 2024
Hannes Snellman has received Hyvän Tekijät responsibility mark, awarded by Finland's largest helping app, Commu. This mark is given to companies that demonstrate activity and responsibility through concrete good deeds in their local communities.
The Hyvän Tekijät mark is a significant recognition for companies that genuinely work for the common good. The mark is awarded to companies that meet clear and concrete criteria, such as organising at least one day dedicated to helping and well-being annually for their staff and offering the opportunity to do volunteer work during working hours. Hannes Snellman is committed to these principles and has actively participated in various charitable activities.
Karoliina Kauhanen, founder of Commu, emphasises the importance of companies' good deeds now more than ever: "The pressure on companies to do good is greater than ever before. Stakeholders, customers, and employees expect companies to do more than just report numbers. Mere talk is no longer enough. Concrete good deeds in communities and the environment are important acts of responsibility that we want to highlight and recognise".
Hannes Snellman has a long tradition of responsibility work. By participating in the #1000tekoa event, we can concretely address societal challenges, such as inequality together with Commu, while promoting human rights, inclusion, and community. Collaboration with Commu also gives our employees the opportunity to participate in meaningful charitable activities and make a difference.
Heidi Heinänen, Hannes Snellman's Communications and Sustainability Manager, comments: "We are extremely happy to receive the Hyvän Tekijät mark. This recognition strengthens our commitment to responsibility and societal impact. Collaboration with Commu has been inspiring, and we are pleased to offer our employees the opportunity to participate in meaningful charitable activities together with Commu."
Hannes Snellman is proud to be part of the group of responsible companies receiving the mark for the first time, and we will continue our work for the common good.
