Maria Wasastjerna as Speaker at GENIAL Research Webinar: How to Write an Excellent Doctoral Dissertation

Partner Maria Wasastjerna, LL.D., will be speaking at the Research Webinar in Global, European, Nordic and Private International Law (GENIAL) at the University of Helsinki’s Faculty of Law on 28 September 2020. The topic of the webinar is how to write an excellent doctoral dissertation. Together with the other speaker LL.D. Antti Salonen, Senior Legal Counsel at OP, Maria will be sharing experiences and practical advice on how to successfully complete a doctorate. The event is organised in cooperation with the International Federation for European Law (FIDE) Finland.

Maria Wasastjerna has extensive experience in competition law, compliance, and regulatory matters. She received her Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Helsinki in 2019 with distinction, a grade only given for pioneering dissertations of exceptional quality. Maria’s research concerned the interplay between data, privacy, and competition law in the digital economy.
