Hannes Snellman’s Joint Ventures & Commercial Cooperation Practice combines the knowledge and experience of all our practice areas when advising clients regarding joint ventures and other strategic partnerships, complex long-term supply, distribution and outsourcing agreements, integrated production sites, and other forms of commercial cooperation — whether entered into in the ordinary course of business or in connection with an M&A transaction or a development project.
We know the structures and the shareholders’ agreements, partnership agreements, and other cooperation agreements of joint ventures, and applicable contract, corporate, and tax law around them. We aim at understanding our clients’ needs and concerns regarding long-term commercial cooperation and are dedicated to finding solutions for the future that are not only in the client’s interest but also feasible and sustainable considering the commercial cooperation with the other parties.
Our core team works closely with colleagues from the Tax, Employment, Finance, Intellectual Property, Technology, and Dispute Resolution Practices, and depending on the relevant industry, with specialists from, for instance, our Energy, Environment & Natural Resources, and Infrastructure Practices, with an aim to offer clients comprehensive legal advice.
