Johanna advises clients on business disputes, focusing on domestic and international arbitration, commercial litigation before state courts, regulatory investigations, and settlement negotiations. She has experience in high-stakes international arbitration and litigation proceedings and complex regulatory investigations. Her background in international arbitration extends to various substantive laws and institutional rules, such as FAI, SCC, ICC, DIA, and Swiss Arbitration Rules. Moreover, Johanna has a particular interest in ESG litigation and is also active in Hannes Snellman’s ESG Group.

  • Counsel to a major Finnish listed corporation in an international multi-million ICC arbitration concerning alleged defective supply of machinery as well as related injunction and damages claim proceedings in several instances of national courts
  • Represented the client against a contractor in an arbitration over an industrial installation agreement
  • Counsel to a Nordic company against a Central European counterpart in a multimillion-euro SCC arbitration and obtained funding for said client
